Each year we partner with KCTV5 and The Salvation Army to promote Project Warmth KC. Project Warmth collects new and gently used coats and blankets as well as cash donations to help people in need during extremely cold weather. The Midwest’s extreme conditions during severe weather—hot or cold—prompted the effort to help people in need. Ultimately, Project Warmth aims to ensure lives are not lost to frigid cold or sweltering heat. Project Warmth KC has been helping our Kansas City area neighbors for over 35 years. Will you partner with Project Warmth this year?
To partner with Project Warmth KC you can help in a few different ways:
-Donate coats and blankets – Saturday November 4th there will be various locations throughout the Kansas City area collecting coats and blankets for those in need. You can read more about the drive at http://www.projectwarmthkc.com/drop-off-locations/.
-Donate money – You can donate online here or look for the Contribution Envelopes in your Kansas City Star Sunday newspaper.
-Purchase your very own original editorial cartoon artwork by Lee Judge – With a donation of $100 dollars you can own this conversational piece of art (Available November 23, 2017 through December 17, 2017). Click here to learn more.
